real quick
Just wanted to let you guys know we are doing good! Eric is growing like a weed and eating 5oz every 4-5 hours.....holy crap baby!
I am done pumping in a week and I am nervous about the whole drying up process. I am gradually going longer between pumps...I am up to 8 hours now instead of 4. So Wish me luck! I go to the OB Tuesday for my post partum follow up. Hopefully I am all healed up. I am ready to do some sit ups and get this belly firm again!
Eric was doing tummy time the other day and rolled from his tummy to his back..he decided he likes to do this and does it every time we do tummy time now. Ahhhhh why is he growing so fast?! He is trying to roll from back to tummy but hasnt mastered that one yet. I will keep you posted. He was doing tummy time and My mother in law was like "here, video it" and as soon as I started he rolled...and I freaked out like a retard...lol...but enjoy
love the little thigh rolls!!! I kiss them every chance I get.

I cant beleive that one week from today he will be 1 month old! Ohhhh gosh...time is flying and its sooo sad! He is just such a little love and I cant beleive how fast he is growing.

Cold!
Holy cow people! It is sooooo COLD outside!! Eric and I are staying bundled up inside until it warms up a bit!! Thought I would share this picture with you all because I think he is just so yummy and adorable!
We had his 2 week check up at the pedi on tuesday! He weighs 7lb 6oz. And everything checked out great! He will go back for his 2 month check up and all of his shots on December 5th. I am not looking forward to him having to get his little shots =( He is sometimes eating 5 oz now...he just kind of lets me know when he is full or wants more so we are fluctuating from 4-5 oz per feeding.

2 weeks!
Little man is 2 weeks old today! And I already cant believe how fast the time is going! He changes every single day and its so amazing to watch his little personality blossom!
He has been doing great at night so fingers crossed that will keep up! We go to the pedi for his 2 week check up on tuesday. I am excited to see how much he weighs since he is such a little piggie!
I am feeling really good! I really do miss being pregnant, it was such a great experience for me and really enjoyable...even though I was sooo ready at the end to not be preggers I knew i was going to miss it. But I am VERY happy to be able to fit in my regular clothes again. I missed them. According to my home scale I am 2lbs away from pre preggo weight but we will see for sure at my follow up on Oct 31. But I can fit in most of my jeans so I am not complaining.
Here is my sweetness sleeping this morning and me 2 weeks post baby bump.
We are about to go see daddy at the fire station so we have to get Mr. Eric dressed. Hope you all have a great week!

Slacking
Hello! I know I have totally been slacking on the blogging and updating. Everytime I get a free second there are bottles to wash, laundry to do, that thing called a shower, and oh yeah feeding myself.
So the first 2 nights home were HORRIBLE as far as sleep. Eric cried all night long. But after that he was sleeping great at night, waking every 4 hours for feedings. The past 2 nights have been a little rough again, he just doesnt want to sleep at night all of a sudden. But I am hoping that it will be back to good tonight because I am one sleepy mommy. Michael goes back to work tomorrow....24 whole hours without daddy to help and I am freaking out a little especially if tonight goes like the last 2 have...I will be a mess.
Eric lost his cord a few days ago and had his first bath. He wasnt too thrilled with the idea but he was so cute. And he just smells like a baby all the time and I love sniffing his little head =) He is up to about 4 oz per feeding which seems like a lot to me but if I give him less he is still hungry.
We went to his first pedi appt last Thursday and he was 6lb 10oz. That is up 7oz from his weight when we were discharged from the hospital. He will go next tuesday for his 2 week check up.
He has the most adorable facial expressions and I love to just watch him for hours....I just stare...he probably thinks I am a creeper but I just cant help myself.
Breast feeding is going good....although I pump and bottle feed so I guess it isnt really breast feeding. But I have A TON of milk....I have a lot frozen now which is good. I plan to pump for about 3 more weeks then start formula. But with my supply he will be able to have breast milk for a little while after I stop pumping. He does really great with the bottles. I was pleasently surprised. He sure hasnt ever had a problem eating! He latched right on in the delivery room.

Eric Michael
He is here! He could not be more amazing. There honestly are no words to describe how much I love him. I will tell you all about our journey when things settle a bit. But I wanted to share some pictures of his birthday with you guys!

Today we are expecting lots of visitors =) Everyone wants to meet Eric. Michael and I have been married 2 years today! We are blessed to have gotten the best gift of all for eachother this year! =)
