Baptism

Hello! We had Erics Baptism today! He was such a good little man and sat in our lap and chewed his toy all through the church service. He was so sweet and just stared at the preacher when he was doing the baptism. Then the preacher carried him down the church aisle to show him off and Eric was just flirting...so cute!
We went to lunch after with our families and he slept most of the time.
I was so proud of him today and what today stands for. I have never been a super churchy-spiritual person. I have my beliefs and feel strongly about being a good person, but I am so hopeful that I can teach Eric how to be a good person and do for others and be strong in his faith no matter what that faith may be. I want him to feel comfortable making decisions and having opinions and I just want good guidance and direction for him. So I think today was a good start. I wont get too deep on you...so

Ma and da da da

So, on saturday Eric said "Ma" for the first time.....I know that he has no idea what it means and he hasnt said it again since..but I was ssoooooo excited!!! He also said "da da da" but hasnt said that again either LOL.....so needless to say, Michael and I both got a little gift and we were so proud! =)
Eric is so funny and his little personality just gets cuter by the day...He is loving ceral  and fruits and veggies...LOVES sweet potatoes. its so cute to watch him eat. He is doing so well with it!

Today we are going to get professional pictures done with Jessica and Wesleigh...I think this will be so cool because Jess and I grew up together and now our kids will too.
And later tonight we have our monthly play date/dinner and all of the kiddos will be wearing thier Valentines day outfits for pictures! They are going to be sooo cute! I cant believe they are growing soo quickly! Its so much fun to get together every month and just see how much they all have changed.

4 month doctors visit

So we went for Erics 4 month doctor visit this morning. He was 15 pounds, 7 ounces. and 25.5 inches long. He had to get 4 shots =( It was pitiful and I cried with him. I hate hate hate hate HATE that!!
He is doing great and she said that his neck and head are looking much better and to keep up with PT for  a little while longer. He gets to start Rice Cereal and fruits and veggies by spoon =) I cant wait to see how he likes it!
He is growing so fast and I feel like he is changing so much right now! He is such a happy boy lately and its so cute to watch him smile and discover new things each day. He loves starting at his hands =) its adorable.
I think I might try putting him to bed a little earlier...I just have such a good schedule going and I hate to change it up...but 10 feels like its so late for him to go to bed. I feel like I put him down and go right to bed myself...so I feel like I have absolutely no time for me..or me and hubby. But I am afraid if I put him down earlier then he will wake earlier...I dont know..maybe with food  now he will stay full longer....I have to think on it and rearrange my schedule and we will see how it goes.
