whew!

OK, I am such a slacker and I know this! I am making myself write this while baby is asleep instead of doing laundry or cleaning my house! It is waaaayyy over due!

Eric is doing just amazing! He will be 4 months old next week! Can you even believe it!? His physical therapy is going great and he is improving soooo much! She was so impressed with his progress when we went on Friday! I am just going to keep doing his stretches and we should be good to go! Hopefully we will get a good report card every week when we go!
He is laughing and talking up a storm. Constant. He lays in his bed in the mornings and doesnt cry, but he talks to himself and apparently he finds himself to be quite the funny guy because he cracks himself up. =) Michael and I just lay and listen because its the most amazing way to start our days. It makes me so happy to go see him in the mornings and see his goofy adorable little grin. Ugh! Love!~

He has started to try and get on his knees while doing tummy time...he is very unstable still and just kind of scoots himself in circles =)

He has also started holding on to my fingers and pulling himself into the sitting position and then stands up while holding my fingers and moves his feet like he is taking steps.. He is so strong and I definitely think he will be an early walker. We shall see! I know that when that time comes that I will have my hands full!

He goes to the doctor for his 4 month check up 2 weeks from today! That means another round of mean ole shots =( this is going to surely break my heart just like the first round did. But I am excited to see how long he is and how much he weighs. I feel like he is a giant. My friends Lauren and Kristi's kids are 2 months older than him and still in 0-3 month clothes and Eric is in 6 months and they are getting a bit small. At our play date a couple of weeks ago he was like the fat kid LOL. But we will see! He starts rice cereal after his doctors appointment! Interested to see how that is going to go! Then it will be on to baby food in 2 months! Ugh! Time is flying!

I think thats the update for Eric. He is just as yummy as ever!

Michael and I are doing great as well. Mike keeps busy with 500 jobs as usual, he is such a good man to work so hard so that I can be with E! We went to Rays on the River (on the chattahoochee) this past Saturday night with Michaels captain and his fiance. The food was fabulous and the view was breathtaking but the prices of course were off the chain and I would have enjoyed Bonefish for dinner 100 times better. But nontheless, it was a fun little double date and nice to have an adults night out. My $15 martinis were splendid, but never again will I EVER spend that on a drink..we stopped on the way home and got the stuff to make more and I enjoyed them just as much sitting in my living room costing a fraction of the price!
Michael is thinking about joining the SWAT team. This would be a nice little chunk of extra money and he has been wanting to do it for a long time. I have been trying to talk him out of it for the last 2 years because I fear what I dont know a lot about. But I trust his judgement and I know that he will be fine! Plus, it isnt a full time or even part time gig. He gets paid over time to train once a month and doesnt actually work unless they get called out. SO I can handle it.

So I joined pinterest and its totally addicting. I have found a TON of recipes on there! If you havent joined please do so! You will fall in love with all of the ideas/recipes =)
My sister in law got engaged over Thanksgiving and has started wedding plans! She is getting married in Florida on the beach in August! I can not wait for this Vaca! Eric will be almost 11 months and I bet he will love the beach!
Hmmm...I think that is all of the updates for now!

Sorry it took so long for me to do this!

  1. So glad Eric is doing great! He is def not a fat kid lol!

Pssh Chris and I make our own drink at home all the time it's so dang expensive to drink out!

Chris was on SWAT before he moved to DEA and it I not big deal he had maybe 3 nights a year that he had to get up in the middle of the night and leave plus the pay raise was awesome!! It's not bad at all dangerous yes but in their line of work everything is dangerous.

This is a random post but you had lots to update on glad you guys are doing well can't wait to see y'all for our February play date!!
