sinking in

We told the family and friends our good news! Everyone seems to be excited and eager to meet Jelly Bean. Michael and I are still trying to wrap our heads around the fact that we created a life...A beautiful little spec that we already love so much.

I signed up for weekly emails today. They will let me know what developmental stage our little one is at each week. http://www.babycenter.com/. It was suggested by our good friend Kristy. It had a TON of helpful information on there such as what kinds of excercises are safe during pregnancy and what you should eat and drink. Also, in the weekly email it tells you what to expect in the up coming weeks. It is helpful to have ideas about what exactly your body and your baby are going through.

We have our first doctors appointment tomorrow! They will do blood work and I will be able to ask questions. We will most likely not get a ultrasound until Feb 23rd. I cant wait to see or hear the heart beat for the first time. I can not imagine what that will be like. =)

The running joke around here is that I will be octomom...except way, way better at it of course! Apparently my progesterone levels were high, and that can SOMETIMES indicate multiples. But of course Michael is convinced that we are at least having twins. Which I will completely blame on him because he has been talking about having twins for months now. His thinking is that if we have twins then I will only have to be pregnant one time because we only want 2 kiddos...Want my opinion?? I AM TOO SMALL!!
However, one baby or eight babies I will be happy as long as they are healthy!

I will update with the results from the doctor and let all of you know when we get to see Baby E for the first time. Right now, I plan to watch "The Bachelor" on t.v. and possibly have a large glass of milk..sounds good huh?

Good night! Love to all!

  1. Jellybean!! That's what we called Jackson :)
Isn't it amazing? You have all this love for them. Then you meet them and it's a million times stronger. It's like you grow a whole other piece of your heart that's just for them! :)
