16 week update

How your baby's growing:

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

I get to see him again on Monday for another u/s. this will be my 4th in 4 months! =) I love seeing him all the time!

I am feeling good. I am doing SO good at drinking my fluids and snacking every couple of hours. I bet the weight will start packing on now....here we go! No more fainting so far! So that is a great thing!
I am crampy today...I am used to that though. I have a growing boy in there!

I am sleeping pretty well right now. Which I am trying to enjoy because it has been a while since I have slept good and I know that it probably won't last long. Last night on the other hand I had some trouble falling asleep...not due to my son, but due to my oldest child...my husband...He was not tired...so he showered..and managed to sing a joyus version of "Hakuna Matata"

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phraseHakuna Matata! Ain't no passing crazeIt means no worries for the rest of your daysIt's our problem-free philosophyHakuna Matata!

While it was adorable...I could have strangled him at the same time....and when he was done showering he decided that "Hakuna Matata" needed to have a snap and dance along with it....(Honey, I love you...but lights are out after 9:30 for mama!)

The nursery furniture should be here by mid-late may...I CAN NOT WAIT! I am so excited about this!

That is all for now!
