22 weeks

How your baby's growing:

At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Woo hoo! I am glad that he is a pound! I know it says almost a pound but he has been a little big the whole time so I am going with it!
Only 18 more weeks to go! I go to the doctor for my regular visit on Monday. I am ready to see if I have gained any weight. I definitely feel like I have. I feel like if I squat to pick something up that it is hard to lift myself back up...which is really sad. That just means my legs are waaayy out of shape.
I did not sleep at all last night. I was SO hott even though the A/C was on and the fan was going full blast, every time I moved I got a horrible charlie horse in my right leg, and I had heart burn. I ended up going to the guest room because Michael had to be up really early to go take his National Registry for his EMT certificate and I definitely did not want to keep him up all night. I was late to work because I could not get myself out of bed this morning and my day is draggin already. Its only 9:30!
But hey, its all for Eric. So bring it on I guess!
I will go for another ultrasound/cervical check the week after next and then another one 2 weeks after that. Then if all looks good I probably won't get anymore =( That makes me sad because I am so used to seeing him ALL the time. But the next time I see him will be the most special because I will be holding him! =)
