24 weeks!

How your baby's growing:

Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.

Woooo HOOOOO! Eric gained somewhere around 4oz since last week! My little growing boy! =)

I go to the doctor Thursday to do glucose test and U/S to check cervical length. I will let you all know how it goes! I am hoping to get a good picture of him this time around because last time he did not cooperate at all. He was on his head upside down the whole dang time.

Still feeling pretty good! It is HOTTTTT outside! Holy cow!

We got the chest of droors for the nursery in on Friday! I am so happy to have somewhere to put Erics clothes!

I am SOOO excited to have my first shower Saturday! I cant wait to come home and put the stuff in the room!!! =)



This past weekend was pretty good....our dinasour computer finally died on us so we had to go drop some money on a new one...that was not fun. Saturday we ran errands and then grilled out at a pool party...Sunday I went to hang out with my mom and had the TASTIEST lunch in the world! My mom is the best cook! Eric enjoyed it!

Other than that not too much going on! I will let you guys know how the u/s goes and will write about the baby shower next week! =)
