28 weeks!

How your baby's growing:

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

12 more weeks to go folks!!!! I am getting SO anxious for Eric to be here!! I absolutely can NOT wait! I go to the doctor Thursday for my regular visit. I am sure that not too much has changed in 2 weeks. I probably gained 2 more pounds but we will see!
Sunday night I had quite possibly the worst night of sleep EVER! I actually dont think you can even call it a night of sleep so I will rephrase that to the worst night of NOT SLEEPING ever! My heartburn was insane. So I couldnt lay down without feeling like I was on fire and about to throw up. My back, hips and ribs hurt sooo bad that I was not comfortable sitting or laying. I got a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes of sleep combined. That made for a VERY long 10 hour day at work. Needless to say I was a bit miserable yesterday.
BUT---last night was MUCH better. Not perfect. But I am NOT going to complain because it was nothing compared to Sunday night. I feel much better today.

I feel huge...I know I am not...but I feel like it. I feel heavy and puffy and like there is no way I can carry any more weight. But I know I will manage.
Excuse the nasty face...remember I am not running on much sleep =)

I am hoping that the extream lack of energy will not last very long. I definitely feel like I am in the first trimester again as far as that goes.  But I am so close! And he is TOTALLY worth it! =)

Hope you guys have a great week!! <3

  1. Try Tylenol PM - totally safe for Eric and it might help with sleep. Trust me, I know where you're coming from. I used to joke that God was playing a cruel joke on me by having me be completely sleep-deprived BEFORE having a newborn to care for :)
Give it a try! Hope it helps <3
