How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.I went to the Doctor yesterday for an U/S to check my cervix. Up to this point my cervix looks perfectly healthy. =) As long as it does not start thinning or "shortening" things should be just fine! =)
Eric is measuring between 6-7 inches and same for ounces! I go back May 11th for my regular visit and they will see if I have gained any weight and all of that good stuff. He was moving all around like a crazy man once we woke him up. I love seeing him! He was sucking his thumb and showing his little muscles with both arms bent beside his head. So cute! I was glad to know that he is still a boy.. =)
As far as how I am feeling....I feel good. My back is still giving me a fit, sleeping is pretty decent. Had a really rough night last thursday but none since then.
We had a busy Easter on Sunday. Had a 9 am breakfast with my mom in Roswell, then drove all the way outside of Athens to spend the day with my dad. So we did not get home til late..I was beat. I have found that it is definitely harder to pull a long day now....and I can not wait to be able to handle it again! I know one thing..I need a day off! One that I can actually enjoy...that I dont have a doc appt...or am not sick...July 1st can NOT come quick enough! Michael and I are taking a whole week off! AHHH RELAXATION!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter!
